NYC Marathon Party

Sunday, November 6th, 2005 was the 36th running of the New York Marathon. This year, Dave Hernan Zapata and Katie Karoussos paid tribute to Timbo by running in this, their first marathon. Dave is one of Timbo's great friends and a Lehigh lacrosse teammate, and Tim adored Katie. We're thrilled to report that both Katie and Dave completed this grueling event together in a very respectable time of just over four hours. They trained for months, and celebrated with friends and family in a New York City watering hole after the event. Thank you, Katie and Dave, for your energy and spirit in running the marathon, and your generosity for donating proceeds from the celebration to the Foundation. While we're sure that Timbo would have given Dave and Katie grief about training for this, we also know he was on the NYC sidewalks cheering them on through every mile.
