Grant Info

The Foundation trustees screen and evaluate candidate grant recipient organizations and individuals on an annual basis. The decision of which organization or person the Foundation will support is made by the Board of Trustees after a comprehensive review of all applications.

Timbo at Home

Through its small grants program, Timbo at Home, the foundation provides grants to individual patients and families for needs not covered by traditional institutions, insurance companies or health care providers. These small grants are awarded to qualified individuals who have immediate and specific needs as a result of TBI that extend beyond what they can afford or obtain. All Timbo at Home grants are distributed directly to the facility or organization that provides the health care service and never directly to the patient or family applicant. The foundation works primarily with the Brain Injury Association of New Jersey (www.bianj.org) and JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ to screen all potential Timbo at Home grant recipients.

Large Grants Program

The foundation offers large grant support to advanced rehabilitation organizations that treat patients and their families as they heal from the debilitating effects of TBI. The foundation works closely with advanced and respected TBI rehabilitation centers like Casa Colina in Pomona, CA and JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ. If you would like more information on how you or your organization might be considered for a Foundation grant, please contact us at info@timbofund.org.
